Handmade porcelain tealight holder.
This is a scene that is close to my heart and where I spent my childhood. The highest market town in England, Alston is to be found in the Pennine fells.
The design depicts the force of the big brooding skies, with the shafts of sunrays cutting through the driving rain and snow. Look closely and a little village is seen huddled in the valley of this extraordinary moorland wilderness. The sheep and trees were both imprinted using fabric, beads and various found objects.
